Chervò
The Chervò SpA is a textile manufacturer based in Costermano , Italy . The company was founded in 1982 by the two brothers Manfred and Peter Erlacher, who live in Seis am Schlern .
origin of the name
The name Chervò is an artificial word and contrary to the Italian pronunciation, the leading "Ch" of Chervò is pronounced softly (Scherwò). The company was originally called Caribou. However, this name could not be protected worldwide, so that the Italian word for deer, "cervo", ended up with Chervò.
