Chess in Friendship
Chess in Friendship ( CiF ) is a correspondence chess club with fans from all over the world.
history
The CiF association was founded in March 1983. It currently has around 540 members from 53 countries; All continents are represented except for Antarctica .
The basic aim of the association was and is to combine the fun of correspondence chess with the personal friendship between the members of the association worldwide. The CiF members should be members of a large family of friends, so there must be no discrimination at CiF on the basis of race, skin color, gender, nationality, religion, ideology or other reasons.
CiF plays chess via postcard, email and via a chess server .
