Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment (CME), founded in July 2005 , a company based near was Phoenix ( Arizona , USA ), which is software and computer games created.

The name Cheyenne Mountain is derived from the mountain of the same name in the Rocky Mountains, which until 2006 housed the Cheyenne Mountain Operations Center (CMOC) . In the science fiction series Stargate - Command SG-1 , the mountain is also the headquarters of the fictional Stargate Command .

The Stargate: Resistance project , a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game), was developed under license from MGM and was based on the science fiction series Stargate - Kommando SG-1 and the spin-off Stargate Atlantis . The game, which used the Unreal Engine 3 , was released on February 10, 2010. On February 12, 2010, two days after the release of their first work, Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment filed for bankruptcy.

At the end of November 2010, it was announced that MGM will no longer license the Stargate brand to CME.
