Chico César

Chico César (born January 26, 1964 in Catolé do Rocha , Paraíba ; actually Francisco César Gonçalves ) is a Brazilian musician , composer and writer.
Life
At the age of sixteen he went to João Pessoa , where he was a member of the avant-garde group Jaguaribe Carne while training as a journalist at the university there . At the age of 21 he moved to São Paulo , where he worked as a journalist. He perfected his guitar playing and began his real career as a musician.
After his successful tour through Germany, he decided to devote himself entirely to music. With his newly formed band Cuscuz Clã he played live at the Blen Blen Club in São Paulo.
In 1995 he released his first record. In 2005 his first book Cantáteis, cantos elegíacos de amozade was published by Garamond , and in 2012 Rio sou francisco was published by Rubra Cartoneira Editorial.
