The Chiesa Sant'Agata da Pedata is a church building in Palermo .

The predecessor of the small church in Via del Vespro, near Porta Sant'Agata, was built in the 4th century over a piece of rock that was revered as miraculous. According to legend, this is said to be the stone that was softened by the steadfastness of the virgin and martyr Agatha of Catania († 253 in Catania) against the tortures of the governor Quintianus ("... you'd rather soften stones than turn this virgin away from Christ") and to show the sandal print of the saint .

After the building was renovated in 1518, the church was given its current appearance. In 1642 a memorial plaque was placed on the boulder, which reports on the miraculous event. In addition to the stone, there is also a polychrome painted, 165 cm high statue of the martyr in the church.
