Chilanga (Muchinga)

Chilanga is a small town 40 kilometers north of Isoka on the Tanzam Highway , where the road to Malawi branches off via Chitipa . Chilanga is home to a branch of the Zambia Wildlife Authority for the Luangwa Valley , the Mount Makulu Research Station , an agricultural research station, a fish farming project of the World Bank , a small hospital, elementary and secondary schools and an unpaved, 1,000-meter-long air runway.
