The Chipoma Falls of the Chimanabwe River are located in the province of Muchinga in Zambia near the town of Chinsali on the Tanzam Highway .
Chipoma Falls is a series of waterfalls and rapids at a distance of 500 meters, where the river drops 40 meters. The Chimanabwe is rich in water and so it offers an impressive natural spectacle here. They are located in the Muchinga Mountains , but in an area that is not very busy. Anyone traveling on the Tanzam Highway pays little attention to the special features of the route in the Wild North of Zambia.
