The lake has three large pools and is surrounded by an amusement park with bike paths, playgrounds, boat ramps and sports fields. The Georges River Environment Education Center is also located there. In Chipping Norton Recreation Center a town hall - The Lakes Boatshed called - integrated, which can be rented for private parties.
The Prospect Creek , tributary of the Georges River, flows not directly in these, but in the Chipping Norton Lake.
