Choe Yong-gon (politician)

Choe Yong-gon ( Korean 최영 건 ; * December 11, 1951 ; † May 2015 ) was Vice Prime Minister in North Korea and Deputy Minister for Construction and Building Materials.

In December 2014 he disappeared from public life. In August 2015, South Korean news agency Yonhap reported that he was allegedly executed at the age of 63, according to an anonymous source , after criticizing Kim Jong-un's policies on forestry. South Korean intelligence said it was unable to verify whether Choe was executed or not.
