Christopher Peter Armstrong (born June 19, 1971 in Newcastle upon Tyne ) is a former English football player . The striker last played for AFC Wrexham .

He started his career in 1989 in Wrexham in the fourth division. In 1991 he moved to Millwall FC in the second division and in 1992 to Crystal Palace in the Premier League. He was Crystal Palace's top scorer with 23 goals, but the club was relegated. In the next year, however, the direct rise again succeeded. In March 1995, his drug test was positive for cannabis and he was banned from four games.

At the end of the season he went to Tottenham Hotspur . With the club he won the League Cup in 1999, together with his German teammate Steffen Freund . In 2002/03 he was with the Bolton Wanderers under contract, but had no missions. In 2003 he moved to his old club in Wrexham, where he ended his career in 2005.
