Christopher Paul Davies (born August 18, 1967 in Swansea Valley ) is a Welsh Conservative Party politician . From 2015 to 2019 he was a member of the House of Commons .

In the British general election in 2015 , Chris Davies was elected to the House of Commons for the first time in the constituency of Brecon and Radnorshire . He moved back into the House of Commons in the new elections in 2017 . Around 18 percent of eligible voters in his constituency removed Chris Davies from office in June 2019 after it became known that Davies had committed billing fraud. When he then ran again in the required by-election on August 1, 2019, the Liberal Democrat Jane Dodds prevailed against him.
