Jane Dodds (born September 23, 1963 in Wrexham ) is a Welsh politician of the Liberal Democrats .

In the British General Election in 2015 , in the National Assembly for Wales in 2016 and in the General Election in 2017 , Dodds achieved the second highest percentage of votes in the constituency of Montgomeryshire. In November 2017, she was elected chairman of the Welsh state party, the Liberal Democrats . On August 1, 2019, Dodds prevailed against previous constituency member Chris Davies in the by-election in the constituency of Brecon and Radnorshire and thus moved into the House of Commons .
