Chris Wolff (born October 2, 1954 in Karl-Marx-Stadt ; actually Andreas Wolfgang Ebert ) is a German pop singer .

Life

While attending secondary school, Ebert led his own band in Karl-Marx-Stadt. He received training as a radio and television technician and continued to devote himself to music. In 1982 he fled to the Federal Republic and settled near Nuremberg . There he met the producer Roland Häring and began a career as a singer in 1984. In the same year his first album Für dich was released . In 1987 Chris Wolff gave up his job after his success with Palma de Mallorca and On the beach of Maspalomas .

From 1987 to 1992 it was placed five times in the top 75 charts and ten times in the ZDF hit parade. In 2000 the CD Klarer Fall von Liebe was released. In 2004 he released the CD Wenn die Sehnsucht burns . She reached second place twice in the German Schlager Parade with the single Hör mal zu zu . To mark his 25th stage anniversary, the CD Augen zu und durch was released in 2009 .

Of the 200 songs that Chris Wolff sings, he composed eight himself. Among other things, he wrote the traffic song under the pseudonym Erich Bleifuß, which is about points in Flensburg. There is also a song Simply fly, simply be free on the CD When the longing burns for paragliding.
