Christel Thielke

Christel Thielke (born December 26, 1936 in Löwensen near Bad Pyrmont ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1990 to 1998 he was in the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Thielke attended elementary school and then trained as a mason in Bad Pyrmont . At the beginning of his apprenticeship in 1952, he joined IG-Bau. After completing his apprenticeship, he worked in this profession from 1955 to 1966. In 1962 he joined the SPD. He worked as a foreman , auxiliary foreman and site manager at various construction companies. In the meantime he passed the master mason exam . From 1966 to 1980 he worked for the city of Hameln as a technical employee. Most recently he was released as chairman of the General Staff Council . From May 1980 until the election to the state parliament in 1990, he was managing director of the SPD sub-district Hameln-Pyrmont.

Thielke was a member of the district council in the Hameln-Pyrmont district of the SPD , where he was deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group. In 1990 he entered the twelfth electoral term of the Lower Saxony state parliament, to which he belonged until the end of the 13th electoral term in 1998.
