The Church of the Nativity of Christ in Ternopil

The Nativity of Christ Church ( Ukrainian Церква Різдва Христового / Zerkwa Risdwa Chrystowoho ) is an Orthodox church building of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (Eparchy Ternopil) from the late 1980s in Ternopil in western Ukraine , the capital of Ternopil Oblast . The church was built between 1602 and 1608. It was restored in 1808. Between around 1700 and 1946 it belonged to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGKK) .
