Christian & die Sauberen Jungs is a music project by the German pop singer Christian König, which he started in 2008 together with the Coesfeld bowling club The Clean Boys .

König began a career as a pop singer in the late 1980s and was under contract with the Bellaphon record company . There were recordings such as Bei uns am Ballermann or Böse, Bad Girls .
In 2008 he took up a song idea by the Dutch singer Peter Steskens and the male choir De Laatbleujers . Steskens had recorded a medley of well-known mood classics together with the choir. An announcer gives the next song and the choir follows with their singing. The recording was released in the Netherlands without any significant response.
The German version recorded by König under the title Das Jungfrauhenchor , on the other hand, developed into a small hit in the summer of 2008. The Schunkellied was initially used in the program of the radio station WDR 4 and became a favorite of the listeners there. The record company EMI then signed the project and launched the recording at the end of September 2008. The leap into the lower areas of the German single charts succeeded immediately.
