Christian Aichinger

Christian Aichinger (born March 24, 1951 in Vienna ) is an Austrian bank manager.

Christian Aichinger completed his law studies in Vienna and passed the bar exam in 1978. The lawyer started his banking career in 1978 in the Girozentrale as an employee in the legal and tax department. On March 1, 1985, he took over the position of director of the board of Wiener Neustädter Sparkasse and has been chairman of the board since September 2008.

During his activity as director of the board, Aichinger took on numerous positions and tasks within the savings bank group - including chairman of the regional association of Lower Austrian savings banks and the Arge "s Regional" (until March 24, 2011). He is a member of the board committee and board of the savings bank association. Christian Aichinger was elected President of the Austrian Savings Bank Association on May 30, 2011 by the General Assembly and is Vice President of the “European Savings Bank Group” (ESBG).
