Christian Beckmann (football player)

Christian Beckmann (* 1977 ) is a former German football player .

career

Beckmann, who was 1.91 meters tall and used the linebacker position, played for the Hamburg Blue Devils from 1997 and remained a member of the team until 2006. He won the German championship with Hamburg in 2001, 2002 and 2003, as well as the Eurobowl winner in 1997 and 1998 .

Beckmann, who studied business administration , was part of the German national team for the 2007 World Cup. According to Huddle magazine , he was removed from the squad during the World Cup when the German American Football Association was informed by NADA that there was a positive doping test from Beckmann.
