Christian Casadesus

Christian Casadesus (born December 26, 1912 in Paris , † March 6, 2014 in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges ) was a French actor and theater director.

Life

Christian Casadesus's parents were the composer Henri Casadesus (1879–1947) and Marie-Louise Beetz. His sister was the actress Gisèle Casadesus (1914-2017).

Christian began his film career in the 1930s and later also acted in theater. After the mobilization in the Second World War in 1939/40, where he also played theater (including Shakespeare), he became director of the Théâtre de l'Ambigu-Comique in Paris in 1954 .
