Christian Friedrich Ahrenkiel
Christian Friedrich Ahrenkiel (born July 17, 1904 in Aabenraa , † January 6, 1993 in Hamburg ) was a German entrepreneur.
Life
Christian F. Ahrenkiel was the son of the son of Jørgen Hansen Ahrenkiel (1862-1924) and his wife Anna Magdalene, née Bruhn (1866-1935). He was married to Anna Ahrenkiel.
In 1950 he founded his own shipping company, the Ahrenkiel Group . Before that he was a member of the board of the Hamburg-America Line from 1942 to 1950 . He was also deputy chairman of the advisory board of Nordstern insurance . From 1945 to 1966 he was a member of the Association of German Shipowners .
