Christian Friedrich August Sommer

Christian Friedrich August Sommer was a German local politician and manor owner . In the first half of the 19th century he was district administrator of the Prussian district of Schweinitz in the province of Saxony . His place of employment was the city of Herzberg (Elster) . From a relative named Sommer, he bought the German court in Dommitzsch , which housed a commander of the German Order's Ballei of Saxony until the 18th century . He acquired this fiefdom on May 28, 1829 for 28,000 thalers. On September 7, 1835, as district administrator, he sold the Deutsche Hof to the bailiff Erdmann Friedrich Herrmann senior.
