Christian Grascha (born October 16, 1978 in Einbeck , Northeim district ) is a German politician ( FDP ) and has been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament since 2008 . He is the parliamentary director of the FDP parliamentary group.

Life and work

After completing secondary school, Christian Grascha trained as an industrial clerk , finance manager (bbw) , master's consultant in finance and financial investments specialist at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce at Löns-Realschule in Einbeck . Today he works as an independent financial and asset advisor at the company BZH Finanz GmbH & Co. KG, where he is the managing partner. Grascha is married and has two daughters.

Christian Grascha has been a member of the Young Liberals and the FDP since 1997 . He was from 2001 to 2011 councilor and also from 2001 to 2010 deputy mayor of the city Einbeck. Since the local elections in 2011 he has been a member of the district council of the Northeim district and is the deputy chairman of the FDP parliamentary group. He is district chairman of the FDP Northeim , district chairman of the FDP Südniedersachsen and treasurer of the FDP Lower Saxony . In the state elections in 2003 , 2008 and 2013 , he ran for the FDP in the Einbeck constituency as a direct candidate .

In 2007 he was elected to 14th place on the FDP state list. Since Stefan Birkner surrendered his seat in the state parliament, Grascha followed suit on February 27, 2008 and moved into the state parliament. Since 2009 he has been the parliamentary managing director of the FDP state parliamentary group. He is a member of the Council of Elders and the Budget and Finance Committee. Grascha is budgetary and financial policy spokesman as well as spokesman for company start-ups of his group.

In addition, Grascha is treasurer of the FDP parliamentary group chairman conference and head of the finance working group there.
