Christian Holzner (* 1970 in Munich ) is a German director and filmmaker .

Life

His most famous film is The Dark Rock (2003), which was a great success, especially with splatter fans. The film was first released in 2004 in a larger edition on DVD . Although it was shortened for the release on DVD and most of the special effects could only be guessed at, the no-budget film became a respectable success in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

In the following years Christian Holzner worked as a producer, production manager and author in various film and television productions until he switched to the advertising and internet industry in 2008. Since then he has been producing advertising films with his own media company ( SHC-Medien ) and is the owner of an internet agency.

Since 2010 he has been running an online shop as a semi-professional magician and member of the MZvD , in which he also sells self-developed "horror effects".
