Christian Karl August Haas , von Haas from 1835 (born January 2, 1779 in Söhnstetten ; † January 26, 1841 in Stuttgart ), was a German theologian .

Life and work

Haas studied Protestant theology in Tübingen. In 1798 he became a master's and in 1805 a repetiteur . From 1808 to 1818 he was a deacon in Waiblingen. There he also took over the position of school conference director in the Waiblingen Oberamt in 1816 . In 1818 he went to Calw as a deacon. In 1824 Christian Karl August Haas became a collegiate preacher in Stuttgart, which he held until his death. From 1825 to 1831 he was also official dean in Stuttgart. He had been prelate and general superintendent in Reutlingen since 1829 . He was an honorary member of the Württemberg consistory.

Politics, ennobling

As General Superintendent of Reutlingen, Christian Karl August von Haas was also a member of the Württemberg Chamber of Deputies between 1829 and 1841 . In 1835 he received the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Württemberg Crown , combined with the elevation to the personal nobility ( ennoblement ).
