Christian Nehiba

Christian Nehiba (born May 20, 1966 in Vienna ) is an Austrian sports presenter, cabaret artist and singer.

Life

Nehiba studied mathematics, but dropped out and did an apprenticeship as a tourism clerk. Between 1988 and 1998 he worked on ORF radio, from 1991 to 2004 he worked in the sports department of ORF television. Among other things, his moderation at major events such as the soccer world championships or the Olympics made him known. In 2004, Nehiba switched from ORF to the pay TV broadcaster Premiere (now Sky ), where he commented on Bundesliga games and presented the show Talk and Tore . He then worked for ATV between January and June 2009 .

Until the end of 2017, he worked as head of sports for Puls 4 and Sat.1 Austria at ProSiebenSat.1 Media . The rights holder of the Europa League and the NFL, Puls 4, had hired Christian Nehiba as head of sport and moderator. In this role, he hosted all of the broadcasters' sports programs, including the Ski Cross World Cup and the NFL with the Super Bowl. Christian Nehiba also commented on the UEFA Champions League on SAT.1 Austria. In February 2018 it was announced that he would become sports director at ServusTV on May 1, 2018 .

In addition to his work on television, Nehiba has been running his own cabaret program Farkas meets Falco since February 2011 .
