Christian Pauk

Christian Pauk (* 1964 ) is a former German basketball player .

Life

Pauk played in the youth of SC Rist Wedel and was 1980 German B youth champion. In addition, there were national victories in the competition “ Youngsters trained for the Olympics ”. From 1981 he was also in the Wedel men's team, with which he was promoted to the regional league in 1982 and to the 2nd basketball division in 1985  . In the second highest German division, he was one of the best scorer in the league: In the 1987/88 season, the winger scored an average of 16.7 points per game in the main round and 17.8 points per game in the promotion round and came second with Wedel. In the game year 1987/88 he reached the semi-finals in the DBB Cup with his team as a second division and threw two Bundesliga teams out of the competition on the way there. In the 1988/89 season Pauk was with 485 points scored in 22 games (22 points / game) third-best German scorer in the 2nd Bundesliga North.

After retiring as a player at the beginning of the 1990s, Pauk worked as a manager of the Wedel team, as a senior player he won several German championship titles in the age groups over 35 and over 45.
