Christian Perthaler (born July 21, 1968 in Kufstein ) is a former Austrian ice hockey player who began his career at EV Innsbruck . From 2001 he played at EHC Linz , where he ended his active ice hockey career at the age of 40 in 2008. In his active career he won the national championship title four times . He represented Austria at the 1998 Winter Olympics and the 2002 Winter Olympics.

After the active career

From 2009 to 2020 he worked as a manager at EHC Linz . He then became manager and managing director of the newly founded EHV Linz.

The club EHC Linz has blocked his jersey number # 30 in his honor, so it will no longer be given to other players.
