Christian Stubbe (born January 26, 1982 ) is a German archer in the Olympic discipline of the recurve bow . He took part in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney , where he was 25th in the individual competition.

Career

Christian Stubbe started his career at BSC Oberhausen . In the period from 1999 to 2001 he was German individual champion several times. His greatest success was in 2000, when he won silver in the team competition at the European Indoor Championships in Spala together with Michael Frankenberg and Erich Kloos and later won the Junior World Championships with Matthias Hummel and Frank von Dincklage.

In his Olympic participation in the same year, he defeated the Frenchman Lionel Torrés in the first round with 163: 161. In the second round he had to admit defeat to Yang Bo from China with 152: 159 and finished the tournament in 25th place.

Christian Stubbe has also held the junior record of 119 points with 12 arrows in the Olympic distance since 1999 . Since records in this category have not been eliminated by the German Shooting Federation since 2011, this can no longer be officially set.
