Christina Helga Moser

Christina Helga Moser (born September 23, 1960 in Berlin ) is a former German hockey player and Olympic participant in 1984.

Christina Moser played like her older sister Petra Moser at SC Brandenburg in Berlin. After several runner-up championships, she won her first German championship title in indoor hockey in 1986. Two more followed in 1988 and 1989, and in 1990 she won the first European Indoor Championships Cup. In 1992 she ended her career. Christina Moser mostly played in the libero position or in midfield.

She made her debut in 1977 in the German national hockey team . She won her first title when she won the European Indoor Championships in 1977. At the 1978 World Cup in Madrid, Moser and the German team only lost in the final against the selection from the Netherlands. In 1981 the team defended the European indoor championship title from 1977. At the 1981 World Cup in Buenos Aires, the German team took revenge. The Dutch women could be defeated in the final.

After a long international break, Christina Moser returned to the German national team in autumn 1983. In 1984 she won bronze at the first European championship. In the same year she drove to the 1984 Olympic Games with the German team . The German team won silver behind the team from the Netherlands. Christina Helga Moser played a total of 164 international matches from 1977 to 1987, 22 of them indoors.
