The Christina Lake is a lake in the Canadian province of British Columbia . It is located around 23 km east of Grand Forks, not far north of the border with the USA .
Christina Lake , through which the Crowsnest Highway runs, is located on the southeastern shore of the lake . The northern half of the lake is in Gladstone Provincial Park . There is a campsite in the park on the western shore of the lake.
With water temperatures of up to 23 degrees, it is one of the warmest lakes in Canada and is therefore visited by many bathers and divers in summer. Not far from the lake is the route of the former Kettle Valley Railway , which is now a popular cycling and hiking trail.
