Christine Straehle

Christine Straehle (* 1969 ) is a German philosopher .

Life

She earned her master's degree from the University of Marburg in 1997 and her PhD from McGill University in 2007 . After academic positions in Montreal and Ottawa , she was Professor of Political Philosophy at the University of Groningen from 2016 to 2018 . Since 2019 she has held a W2 professorship for practical philosophy in Hamburg .

Her focus is on political philosophy, moral philosophy and ethics.
