The Christian Written Distribution e. V. (better known under the official abbreviation CSV ) is a publishing house of the Brothers Movement based in Hückeswagen . Richard Mohncke (1905–1976) was the founder. The publishing house was founded on April 11, 1948 after the Second World War.

Publishing program

The publishing house and the affiliated mail-order bookstore are dedicated to the distribution of Christian writings according to their name. The published publications are all related to the Brethren movement. The Elberfeld Bible in the “Edition CSV” (2003) is very well known . Other published authors and works are or were, among others: John Nelson Darby , William Kelly, Frank Binford Hole, Hamilton Smith, Christian Briem, Arend Remmers , Ernst-August Bremicker .

Periodicals

From 1947 to 2015 the publisher published the monthly magazine encouragement and admonition , which has been continued by Living in Faith since 2016 . The children's magazine Der Beste Freund has been published since 1952, and the youth magazine Follow me since 1993 . Also known are the tear-off and book calendars Die Gute Saat and God's Word for every day as well as the TimeKeeper appointment calendar for young people and the compass for children.
