Christoph Hackbeil

Christoph Hackbeil (born January 26, 1956 ) is a German Protestant theologian and regional bishop . Hackbeil has been provost of the provost of Stendal-Magdeburg since 2009 .

Life

Cleaver comes from Leipzig . He attended the St. Thomas School in Leipzig and studied theology in Leipzig. In 1984 he was ordained and took over a parish parish in Mieste in the Altmark . In 2000 he became superintendent of the Halberstadt church district . In 2009 he was elected provost of the provost of Stendal-Magdeburg by the regional synod of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany . He replaced the provisional provost Matthias Sens .

Hackbeil is married and has three children.
