Walter Harzer

Walter Harzer (born September 29, 1912 in Feuerbach , † May 29, 1982 in Stuttgart ) was a German standard leader of the Waffen-SS and a knight's cross .

Harzer commanded the 9th SS Panzer Division “Hohenstaufen” and the 4th SS Police Panzer Grenadier Division .

He took part in the Battle of Arnhem .
