Christoph Koenigsmann

Christoph Königsmann (born January 31, 1976 ) is a former German football player .

career

The 1.95 meter tall defensive player left the regional division Wolfsburg Blue Wings in 2002 and moved to the Braunschweig Lions and thus to the top German division GFL . He played for Braunschweig until 2007 and won the Eurobowl in 2003  and the German championship in 2005, 2006 and 2007. He was German runner-up with Lower Saxony in 2002, 2003 and 2004.

At the European Championship in 2005 he was in the final with the German national team, but lost there against Sweden , in the same year he won the World Games in Duisburg . At the 2007 World Cup, Königsmann came third with the German selection.
