Christoph Siegrist (meteorologist)
Christoph Siegrist (born October 10, 1972 in Bern ) is a Swiss meteorologist and television presenter .
Life
After high school in Bern, Siegrist completed a degree in earth sciences from 1994 to 1999 at the ETH Zurich with a specialization in atmospheric physics , which he graduated with a diploma. In 1999 he trained as an Advanced Weather forecaster at the Royal Meteorological Office College in Reading (England).
He has been working for Swiss television since 1997 . From autumn 1999 he was a meteorologist in the forecasting service, from January 2001 forecaster and weather presenter for Mittagsmagazin and since June 2004 weather presenter for the evening show. Siegrist is the deputy editor-in-chief and head of the research and development team at “ SRF Meteo ”.
