Christoph von Kleinsorgen (born July 14, 1980 ) is a former German racing cyclist .

Athletic career

Christoph von Kleinsorgen's career began on a mountain bike . For two years he was a member of the state selection of North Rhine-Westphalia, finished 2nd in the NRW Cup for mountain bikers as a junior and just missed the podium in the state championship in fourth.

From 2000 von Kleinsorgen drove for the Coast team and from 2004 for the German Continental Team Lamonta . In his second season there, he won the final stage of the Rhineland-Palatinate Tour from Kaiserslautern to Koblenz . A little later he had a serious fall on the Bayern Tour , lost consciousness and had to be flown to the University Clinic Erlangen by rescue helicopter . He recovered and won the Sparkasse Grand Prix towards the end of the season . In 2007 he rode for the Heinz von Heiden team , then ended his cycling career.
