Christopher Conyers

Sir Christopher Conyers of Sokebourne (* around 1411) was an English knight .

Life

Sir Christopher Conyers was the son of Robert Conyers, squire of Sockburn, Durham , and Isabel, daughter of William Pert.

A devoted supporter of the House of York during the Wars of the Roses, he fought at the First Battle of St Albans in May 1455 , at Blore Heath in September 1459, and at Towton in March 1461 .

Marriage and offspring

Sir Christopher was married to Mariora, daughter of William de Eure. They had six children:
