Chthonios (Centaur)

Chthonios ( Greek  Χθόνιος ) is a centaur of Greek mythology .

In the Metamorphoses of Ovid Chthonios is one of the centaurs that at the wedding of Pirithous against the Lapiths fight. In the course of the fight he is killed by Nestor .
