Chuck Hoberman

Chuck Hoberman (* 1956 in Cambridge (Massachusetts) ) is the inventor of various folding games and shapes.

Hoberman earned a bachelor's degree in sculpture from Cooper Union and a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Columbia University . In 1997 he won the Chrysler Design Award for innovation and design.

In 1990 he founded Hoberman Associates. In 1995 he co-founded Hoberman Designs with his wife and business partner Carolyn Hoberman. His most notable game is the Hoberman Sphere. In 2000 he was a finalist in the Smithsonian National Design Awards.
