Chumburung (people)

The Chumburung are a people in Ghana who are also called Yeji , Nchumburung , Nchimburu , Nchummuru , Nchumburu , Kyongborong or Kyombaron .

The Chumburung live in a settlement area between the northern Volta Reservoir , northeast of the Daka River and the city of Yeji on the Volta Reservoir. The Chumburung are related to the group of the northern Guang peoples.

The Chumburung ethnic group is assigned to between 69,000 and 70,000 people whose mother tongue is Chumburung .
