Church House Trust is a British private bank founded in 1978 in Yeovil . In January 2010 it was taken over by Virgin Money and has been operating under the name Virgin Bank Ltd.

history

Church House Trust was established in 1978 . The name is derived from the Queen Anne House , opposite St. John's Parish Church in the center of Yeovil . The Queen Anne House was acquired by Nathaniel Batten in the 1720s. The Church House Trust moved from the building to a new building in 1999.

Takeover by Virgin Money

On January 8, 2010, Virgin Money announced the Church House Trust plc. for £ 12.3 million. The purchase gives Virgin Money access to the banking market. Church House Trust becomes under Virgin Bank Ltd. continued. At the same time the equity base was strengthened by £ 37.7m.
