Ciklum is an international custom software development and IT outsourcing company headquartered in London, UK .

The company has software development centers and offices in the UK , Switzerland , Denmark , Poland , Ukraine , Belarus and Pakistan .

Educational initiatives

In September 2012, the Ciklum co-launched BIONIC University, the first cross-company IT university in Ukraine, was founded.

In April 2014, Ciklum, together with other IT companies operating in Ukraine, initiated the launch of the Brain Basket Foundation to finance free training courses for people who want to learn programming. The aim of this initiative is to develop the IT industry of Ukraine with current annual sales of 2 billion US dollars to an annual sales target of 10 billion US dollars, thereby creating 100,000 jobs by 2020. Ciklum contributed $ 100,000 to this program.

Company history

Ciklum was founded in 2002 by the Dane Torben Maigaard, who chaired the board in Kiev, Ukraine until 2019. Since it was founded in 2002, the company has grown to over 3,500 employees.

In 2009, Ciklum took over the main business activities from Mondo's bankruptcy.

In 2011, Ciklum acquired 50% of the SCR groups ( Denmark ).

In 2013, Ciklum acquired the Danish IT outsourcing provider Kuadriga.

Rankings and recognition

Ciklum was named the Top 100 Global Services Provider in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

In 2012 and 2013 Forbes Ukraine included Ciklum in the top 5 outsourcing companies in Ukraine.

In 2015, Ciklum was ranked 5th among the top 25 largest IT companies in Ukraine.

In 2015, Ciklum successfully passed the certification process according to ISO 9001: 2015, the world's leading standard for quality management.

In 2018 Ciklum announced the certification of its conformity with the requirements of ISO 22301 "Business Continuity Management Systems".

In 2018, Ciklum won the Outstanding IoT Project Award at the 2018 Computing's Big Data Excellence Award Show.

In 2018, Ciklum won the European Software Testing Award 2018 in the Global Testing Team of the Year category.

In 2018, Ciklum was certified to meet the requirements of the "Information Security Management System" standard 27001: 2013.
