The Circle Line New York operates ferries and tourist boats in the area of the city New York . The most famous tour is the three and a half hour drive around the island of Manhattan . The Circle Line also operates faster speedboat tours under the name The Beast .
Today there are two companies with this name ( Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises and Circle Line Downtown ), which were created in 1961 by splitting up the original Circle Line company .
