Ciro Diezhandino Nieto
Ciro , actually Ciro Diezhandino Nieto (born June 9, 1937 in Castrillo de Onielo , Palencia ) is a Spanish flamenco dancer and choreographer .
Ciro's work as a teacher and choreographer influenced an entire generation of flamenco artists. Joaquin Ruiz is one of his students .
During his active time as a dancer, Ciro worked for several years in the USA . After returning to Spain he taught at the Amor de Dios dance school in Madrid and gave workshops abroad. In the film Carmen by Carlos Saura Ciro had a small appearance.
Today Ciro lives in Madrid.
