The Citiworks AG (proper spelling: citiworks ) is a company founded in 2000 by German energy trading - and energy services company based in Darmstadt .

The company operates as a service provider for energy suppliers , municipal utilities , distributors , power plant operators , network operators and cooperations and employs around 18 people in the areas of energy trading , portfolio management and IT.

In the second half of 2012, after Stadtwerke München and Stadtwerke Mainz left the group of shareholders, the company's headquarters were relocated from Munich to Darmstadt, where today's parent company, ENTEGA AG , is also based.

Products and services

The core of the range of services is access to the spot and futures markets in the energy sector.
