The City-Galerie in Aschaffenburg is an inner-city shopping center . There are large branches of Media Markt , Müller , H&M and C&A , as well as many small specialist and branch stores such as Douglas , Hussel or Thalia .

The building was completed in 1974 and opened on March 7, 1974 with 40 operations. Between 1997 and 1999 a renovation with extensive modernization took place.

The commercial space since the renovation has been 55,900 m² (before the renovation: 44,600 m²). The multi-storey car park integrated into the building complex offers 1,700 parking spaces on eleven floors (before the renovation: 1,450 parking spaces on six floors). The City-Galerie Aschaffenburg has around 26,000 visitors a day.

On January 1, 2006, the Rheinisch-Westfälische Immobilien-Anlagegesellschaft (RWI) sold the City-Galerie for 140 million euros to Commerzbank Grundbesitz-Spezialfondsgesellschaft (CGS) based in Wiesbaden.
