Andreas Matzbacher

Andreas Matzbacher (born January 7, 1982 in Graz ; † December 24, 2007 near Frohnleiten , Graz-Umgebung district ) was an Austrian professional cyclist .

Andreas Matzbacher drove for Saeco in 2004 , for Lampre-Caffita in 2005 and for Team Volksbank from 2006 . He finished 91st overall at the Vuelta a España in 2005 . His greatest sporting success was winning the Raiffeisen Grand Prix in 2004 and sixth place in the road race of the Austrian state championship in 2005.

He died on December 24, 2007 in a car accident on the Brucker Schnellstraße S35 .
