The City Park Albania is a shopping center in Albania . It is located on the Tirana – Durrës SH2 motorway near the town of Gjokaj , around twelve kilometers from Tirana city center.
Citypark is Albania's largest shopping center with 98 shops on a sales area of 40,600 m², including branches of Rossmann , Euronics and Intersport, as well as a Mercator supermarket. Albania's only artificial ice rink , Cartoonland and other entertainment areas as well as catering facilities are also affiliated .
The mall was built by the AM Group , a local construction company. The construction costs are estimated at a total of 80 million euros. It was opened in December 2009.
The Citypark is twelve kilometers from the center of Tirana , 25 kilometers from Durrës and eight kilometers from Tirana Airport . There is a direct exit on the national road. The buildings are surrounded by large parking areas. A bus goes directly from the center of Tirana to the shopping center. Its catchment area covers up to 1.4 million consumers with a radius of 25 kilometers.
