The Clénet Series IV was a car model from the American manufacturer Clénet Coachworks .

description

The Clénet Series IV was intended by Alfred di Mora as the successor to the Clénet Series III Asha . The design of the car was based on a design by Alain Clénet, which he had developed for the Japanese market in the late 1970s. Overall, the model corresponded to the Series I roadster in many ways . Around 10 chassis were produced at the Carpinteria plant from 1986 onwards, but only one Series IV model was actually completed. It bears the chassis number 007 and is now in California. About three other vehicles were gradually built from spare parts by external workshops. They are referred to in the scene as "Near-Clénets". One of them was on sale in the United States in September 2008.
